Art
I’ve spent around 6 years working on animations as a hobby. While my products were developmental, they were pivotal to finding my art style and learning the 12 principles of animation. My current project mostly focuses on procedural animation, but my old skills have greatly aided in the process. I now focus on hand drawn, high detail art that mixes vector-based cartoons like Adventure Time or Regular Show with the sketchy look of something like Don't Starve.

I have spent several years working with 2D rigging, and I have now learned how to make soft bodies and movement with Lerp, Sin, Cos, and quaternions. By combining hand drawn art with procedural animation, I get a game that looks like no other.

I am most comfortable working with traditional 2D animation. I have a bouncy, fast paced style of animation that suits combat or cartoony movements. I also know how to combine frame by frame animation with rigs that allow for animations to mesh with held items or equipment.

My past work acts as a foundation to my current developments. While the journey was arduous, I eventually discovered my style, and now I can work on instinct- this brings consistency to the quality of my work.
